我目前在印第安纳州我最后两个学期University and will be graduating with a BS in psychology in December of 2022. I will be hopefully returning to Indiana University to complete my MSW with a start date of January 2023. My dream is to be a social worker for children with chronic or terminal illnesses. I started my tutoring/teaching career my freshman year of high school where I worked as a student-teacher for the pre-school/pre-k classroom located inside my school. I also worked in the SPED classroom as a peer helper where I was able to create and build lasting peer friendships in order to help develop SEL and communication skills. While I have many experiences teaching developmental appropriate activities in math, reading, writing, fine/gross motor, and SEL, I am most passionate about teaching each of these subjects with real-life objects or concepts (I do have a strong place in my heart of STEM and SEL). I like to structure all my lessons in a way that is appealing, intriguing, and meets the need of each individual student. I believe that education is essential but does not mean sitting down following a worksheet. I have many years of experience working with children ages 3-18 with various learning, physical, and mental disabilities. I am also extremely knowledgeable about 504 and IEP plans. In my spacetime, I like to go to dance classes, write poems, and spend time with my friends, family, and pets!
