At Wright Yacht and Boat Services we pride ourselves on the quality of our workmanship. Boat building has been a part of the Wright dynasty for 100 years, and we are still going strong today.

Norman S Wright                Principal Director

·                     Has more than 20 years experience as a boat 
                builder and sail maker

·                     Assisted in designing the curriculum for 
                boatbuilding at the Ithaca College of TAFE

·                     Run a successful launch service on the Brisbane river

·                     Experience with all manner of timber construction and design

·                     Accredited Marine vessel Surveyor Class 1B

·                     Completed apprenticeship at Norman R Wright & Sons 1996

·                     Experience with composite forms of construction

·                     Experience with 2-pack spray application

·                     Introduction to C.A.D 

·                     General repairs of exotic fibre reinforced 
                components and epoxy systems

·                     Fabrication of general components using vacuum   
                bag techniques
